I AM A PARENT

Our licensed providers take pride in offering a community based, family centred program to parents and children ages 1 to 12 years of age.  Whether parents are looking for care in their neighbourhood or on route to school or work, Kidz Clubhouse works in partnership with parents to offer and secure the best child care arrangement with our licensed home childcare providers. Our team of qualified Home Visitors monitor the providers on an ongoing basis by completing unscheduled visits to ensure the Ministry of Education’s standards for safety and quality care, as outlined in the Child Care and Early Years act (CCEYA), are being met.

WHY CHOOSE KIDZ CLUBHOUSE

Our licensed home childcare program offers families the option of child care in a safe and nurturing home setting.  Families enrolled in our program enjoy, flexible hours and varied age groupings, giving the opportunity to have siblings in care together.  Our dedicated providers, with the support of our professional team of Home Visitors, ensure children receive early learning opportunities in a stimulating environment that meets the Ministry of Education’s standard of safety and quality care as outlined in the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).  At Kidz Clubhouse, we work in partnership with both parents and providers to ensure the best individualized care plan can be developed for each child and family.

$10 A DAY
CHILD CARE

The $10 a day child care deal with Ontario and the federal government has finally been reached. This will provide much needed relief for families who lack access to affordable, inclusive and high-quality child care.

The Early Learning and Child Care Agreement is a 5 year deal aimed to reduce child care fees for children under 5 on average by 25% as of April 1, 2022. By the end of December 2022, fees will be reduced by 50% and by September 2025, a target rate of $10 a day has been set. 

​

Kidz Clubhouse will be enrolled into the new program by September 2022 and will be able to offer parents more affordable care from the time of enrollment. 

BENEFITS OF LICENSED HOME CHILD CARE

For the Children:

  • Smaller, comfortable, family style setting

  • Varied age groupings allowing siblings to be in care together

  • Smaller ratios (Maximum of 6 children, including providers own children under 6, with a maximum of 2 under 2 years of age).

  • Close relationships with the other children and provider

  • Children explore their own community through outings to parks, libraries, fire stations, etc.

For the Parents:

  • Flexible hours 

  • Advisor to assist with placement and interview process as well as continuous communication with the provider and families

  • Provider has regular access to resources and support they need to provide the best possible care for your child and family

  • All homes are regularly monitored for safety and cleanliness

SECURING A CHILDCARE ARRNGEMENT – A PARTNERSHIP

All of our providers are carefully screened, approved and monitored by Kidz Clubhouse and our highly qualified Home Visitors. Providers that are affiliated with us must meet the requirements of the Child Care Early Years Act.  Providers must provide Kidz Clubhouse with a Police Vulnerable Sectors Check, up to date Immunization record, Standard First Aid/CPR-C and references.  Our Home Visitors provide training and support to our providers to ensure a fun, exciting and developmentally appropriate program that consists of both indoor and outdoor activities for the children in care.

 

Kidz Clubhouse will meet with parents before securing a home childcare provider to help make the best match possible for their child care arrangement.  The child care arrangement between parent, provider and agency becomes a partnership working to offer the best child care arrangement for your child/children.  Once care has commenced, the Home Visitor monitors the child care arrangement and the development of each child in the home.   They provide support and resources to both parents and providers based on the individual family needs.

Each of our providers is equipped with the ProCare childcare app which will allow you to easily communicate with your provider and build a stronger connection. You will never miss an important moment in your child’s day as ProCare can immerse parents into their child’s day-to-day activities – from tracking developmental milestones to sharing photos and videos to enabling two-way communication.
